My Long Awaited Update on Life
Monday, February 08, 2010

We are home from the holidays and I am glad. I would like to visit everyone once in a while but I like being home.  When Daddy goes to work some days I ask Mommy why? She says to make money for us. I then ask if the money will be enough to take us on the airplane to Nana and Papa's house. Mommy says not yet.  I can wait and I'd like them to come see my house too.

It's alot more fun around here with a snowmobile and Fox to play outside with me.  I like that we don't have to hike into the house because sometimes Mommy would make me walk in the snow too and it was kinda deep on my legs.  I like going fast on the snowmobile and doing jumps with Daddy.  On nice days we play in the snow cave Daddy made and sled with Mommy down the hill.  Myatuk, Shumani, and Mango play with us too.  they help me dig in the snow and Fox helps me build stuff.  We have so much fun out there.

Most of the time I like to be in the house though.  When we had all the Tupou boys and Jade over I liked to play with them in the house.  They watched my movies with me and dressed up with me too. I say "Pibbity pobbety boo! Poof! You're a prince".

Cinderella was an awesome movie.  I could watch it over and over again.  It's not my favorite as I have alot of favorites but it's up there.  I have a really good memory and I can remember lines from movies and pretty much anything.  Mommy didn't like it when I went around the house one day saying "Yes, Stepmother, yes, stepmother" everytime she asked me to do something.  She told me I can't say that to her but if she dies and Daddy marrys a different girl I can say it to her all I want!  I understand that is because she would be my stepmother really.

Sometimes Mommy and Daddy think I am asleep but I'm not. I like to listen and pretend.  One night they watched a pirate movie and they thought I was asleep, but that morning when I was waking up I said "Aye aye Captain!" in my sleep.  They watched another movie with me and Fox the other night called The Nutty Professor with Jerry Lewis.  The next morning at breakfast I said "You don't know what you're missing Doll" to Daddy. He was shocked and thought it was funny but they think they need to watch what I watch and hear more now.

I pretend I'm asleep sometimes and just go limp to see if anyone can figure it out. Like right when Mommy says it's dinnertime I'll pretend to be asleep, or at bedtime, or tooth brushing time.  One time Daddy really thought I was asleep! Mommy can tell though and ratted me out.  I like to pretend or be dramatic as Mommy says.  Sometimes they think it's funny, other times not so much.  I'll stare blankly at Daddy as he works, or roll my eyes at Mommy. She thought that was funny once but only cause I said he Mommy look, I can roll my eyes!  I was on the potty when I said that and she was holding my dress up at church.  She was frustrated but laughing because she said I was acting like a bride on her wedding day getting it all out. She'd ask me if I was done yet and I'd say "Nope, still trying" but then go on and on about the walls of the stall, the ceiling, how I can roll my eyes, my primary teacher, Fox and how silly he is, my friends and so on for a long long time.  Eventually she didn't think it was funny anymore and kicked me off so I hurried up and got it all out and we went to wash our hands.

We have fun at our house and doing things together. Mommy plays flash cards, reads me stories, and we play games and sing songs.  I know all the words to the games and songs, I know all my alphabet and their sounds, I know my numbers up to 5, and I love to draw and color pictures or read books I have menorized to Fox.  Daddy plays more imaginitive games and chases us and flips us around. We have so much fun here, YOU need to come visit!

The Joie Quote of the Day
Thursday, February 04, 2010

Zach needs to put a section for the Joie quote of the day.  She comes up with sayings that she says over and over daily.  One day it was "For generation to generation", "That's your favoritest song ever!" but she says that one everytime she sings a song, "First Fox from the top!" is one she says every night at toothbrushing time, another one just for that day was,  well I forget now. This is why she needs a section made for this.

My Holiday Trip South
Thursday, February 04, 2010

We went down south for the holidays to see family and I was so excited!  We went on a boat and an airplane to get there.  The ferry wasn't as much fun because Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me run around but the airplane was cool.  I wasn't scared because we were driving into town and saw the skyroad that the airplanes fly on right by the sun and clouds.  Flying horses go on the skyroads too.

When we got down Auntie Molly and Uncle Chester picked us up and I was happy to see them. Then we got to James and Travis's house but it was time for bed.  In the morning I got to play with them. I was so happy to see them!  We played all morning and then Mommy and Daddy went to the temple and we played somemore. Auntie Molly took us to see Frosty and some other cool things. After we met back up with Mommy and Daddy Mommy's Mommy and Daddy took us to Canada. I rode with Mommy and Fox and the girls, Auntie Amanda and Nana.  We had fun.

Our time in Canada was short but very busy. We were always going and doing something!  I was tired alot but still excited to be there and play.  I loved playing princess with auntie Holly, Making cookies with Nana and Uncle Michael, just playing games with Uncle Michael, Playing with Auntie Amanda, Seeing the pets and playing with Papa and seeing Uncle Grant and Matt.  I saw new places and ate yummy foods. I saw my Great Grandma and at first I was scared but then I had fun with her and shared pie with her.  We videotaped alot and took pictures of our early Christmas there. We hung stockings and Santa filled them. We opened presents and stockings and got so many fun new toys and clothes.  I played with Uncle Michael and Fox for hours with them.  We had a yummy fun Christmas dinner and then it was time to go back to Washington.  I was really sad to leave but I knew we'd see more family and hopefully see Mommy's family in Canada again soon. they are going to come see me soon I know it.

Uncle Gary drove us down to Auntie Molly's house  early so Daddy could have his back cracked by Frosty.  Daddy's cousin Dean is a chiropracter.  We got there and saw Frosty again.  I played with Frosty's daughter Kara, Jamie, Travis and Fox. We had so much fun running around and playing.  Soon they had to go to bed and Uncle Chester drove us to Nana and Papa's house.

We had alot of fun staying with Nana and Papa playing with all the toys and our cousins.  I liked going on walks and playing with the puppy.  Mommy and Daddy went out alot but I didn't care cause I was having so much fun with Jamie, Travis, and Nana and Papa.

Christmas we got dressed up to go to a party.  Mommy curled my hair and I didn't want her to.  I made goofy faces and couldn't wait to have them out.  The party was fun I played with all the kdis there. Alot of kids were there.  I played with Hadley , James, and Travis the most.  Hadley is my age and a girl, it's fun to have a girl to play with.  We saw Santa and I didn't really want to take a picture with him but I did for a candy cane. I ran and hid in the farthest part of the really big house the party was in.  Mommy found me though and made me come for pictures. We stayed late at the party and went hoem to bed. The next morning was Christmas morning and James and Travis came over with Auntie Molly and Uncle Frank. We all opened presents and I got fairy wings!  We went on a  fun walk and played with rocks and sticks. I tried to blow the moon away cause I didn't want the day to end.  Breaking ice puddles was fun too.  Then we had a yummy dinner with lots of people, I didn't really care I just wanted to play with my cousins. I like Christmas but not this Santa Claus.

There was no snow in Washington and that was weird. I missed the snow and started wanting to go home again. I did love playing with everyone though.  We went to parks and for lots of walks and just spent alot of fun time together. We ate yummy foods and had good times, but then it was time to go home.

Papa drove us to the airport very very early in the morning.  We waited around for 2 hours and I wanted to walk around a bit but listened to Mommy when she said to sit and relax.  We were on the airplane a long time and that was pretty boring.  I colored and stuff but we were grounded for a long time in the middle of our flight.  I did get to play a bit in Ketchikan in the airport playplace with fox and another lil boy for a bit.  Generally though it was boring and tiring. When we flew into Juneau I knew we were in Alaska and I was so excited and told Daddy.  Mommy and Fox couldn't sit with us on the plane.

We got our car and tried to go to church but Daddy and me fell asleep in the meeting so Mommy said we had to leave. We went to the Huntsman's for dinner and stayed the night there. I watched Cinderella with their daughter. They were nice people. Then we went to bed.

We had to get up early again to go home on the ferry. The boat was delayed so we drove around and napped in the car. Had a pretty yummy breakfast and went on the ferry home. I had more fun this time and played with Daddy on deck or just went for walks with him.  He stuffed me in a locker once but I kinda liked it and we made it game. Mommy was sleeping with Fox but she walked with me a bit and we had fun too. It was good to be home.
