This is from Mommy's point of view. I'm so proud and can never get over those wonderful moments when my kids are playing together over the silliest things and having so much fun. I can just watch and see how adorable they are and where there personalities are going. Today is one of those days. Joie and Fox are playing pretend and laughing hysterically. Joie has two rubber ducks and she is pretending all sorts of stories while Fox watches and laughs. She even does voices. One is a girl the other a boy. Girl "my boyfriend says I can't marry you", Boy "well next time I get to be the girl!". She makes the boy have this deep deep voice and the girl has a high girly voice. 'I want my dress blue" "well, I want to dress in pink" she pulls from movies and things she hears and sees. Pikachu is offically engaged to Cinderella and as soon as the snow melts they are having a beach wedding. This age is so much fun. Fox loves her stories and laughs at them or trys to play along. They team up to accomplish things. I'm so proud of them and glad she has a brother close in age who is a big as her.
She is super witty and strong willed. Cleaning up is a tough thing around here. I ask her to clean her toys, she says "No way, Mommy it's ok, you can do it." Of course I'm shocked and say "No way, you clean up or I'll stick you outside on the trampoline" Which is bad thing because it is cold out and she wasn't dressed for it. Her reply? "I'm not tape Mommy" Sigh! What do I do with this lil girl. I ask her to eat her dinner and she won't for anything. She'll skip dessert and ask to go to bed at 5pm. This will be fun when she is a teenager. I hope she grows out of it. We just need to find a system. She's so smart and wonderful, sometimes frustrating but wonderful.
I love the Mommy daughter time we have together when Fox takes naps. I'll miss it when he grows out of naps. Fox is so lil that he always gets his Mommy but me and Joie only get that hour or so to be alone. I love baking, beading, making crafts, doing nail polish, we have so much fun together. She chooses what we do and we do it together. Some days we don't but we try.
I love her patience, as I put Fox for naps she will watch a video on the computer. Sometimes it will be over and she'll be all alone and have to be quiet. She just lays on the couch and waits quietly. One morning Zach and Joie got up before me and Fox. It was one of those rare super rare mornings. He left for work and I awoke 30 min later wondering where they were. She was watching a video on the computer and said Daddy had gone to work and it was all ok Mommy. She's growing up so fast. She tattles on Daddy now, tells it like it is, and is such a lil person. I'm so proud to be her Mommy.
